| Dear Tom's Hardware Subscriber, We are writing to let you know that effective January 24, 2017 we are updating the privacy policy and terms of use that govern Tom's Hardware. The changes to the privacy policy and terms of service are generally limited to clarifying some language and addressing the fact that some of the features and services that we offer either directly through Tom's Hardware or our parent company, Purch, have changed recently. Specifically, we no longer operate an ecommerce store and we are now offering a loyalty rewards program called Purch Perks. In addition to these changes, we've updated our mandatory arbitration language by changing the governing body from the American Arbitration Association to JAMS and we have provided more detail about the arbitration procedures.
